Licenciado en Nutrición, Maestro en Ciencias en Biología Molecular y Doctor en Ciencias en Biología Molecular en Medicina. Profesor de tiempo fijo del DPES en la Licenciatura en Nutrición y Ciencias de los Alimentos. Coordinador del programa formal de investigación en Psicología, Educación y Salud (PFI-PES). Área de especialidad e interés: nutrición molecular y ciencias de los alimentos. Actualmente profesor de PAP en el área de nutrición clínica y ciencias de los alimentos. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores.
